Arequipa - Colca Canyon 3 Days / 2 Nights

Summary

The Misti volcano may be dormant, but Arequipa wakens every morning amidst a flurry of activity. And although the summit of the volcano is often wreathed by small clouds of smoke, the Arequipa townsfolk -proud of their land- do not fail to invite visitors to stroll through the streets of white stone and traditional squares.
This is a fast visit to the most important attractions of the white city of Arequipa, we'll visit Santa Catalina convent, the Cathedral (of the city) and The Colca Canyon with all the splendor of its landscapes.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arequipa - City tour.

Transfer airport - hotel, around the 2:30 p.m. City tour guided, visits the Main Square, the Cathedral, La Compañia and San Francisco churches, Municipal Museum, Large houses and Santa Catalina Convent.

Day 02: Arequipa - Chivay

Approximately at 08:30 a.m. Departure to Chivay, on the way we visited the quarries of sillar; vicunas, flames and alpacas national reserve, town of Vizcachani, Chuchuna volcano and the Viewpoint of Patapampa, arrival to Chivay tourist lunch in Chivay, in the evening enter to La Calera thermal baths.
